The Lord Can Still Save – Isa 59
“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; Neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear
Isaiah 59:1-2:But your iniquities have separated between you and your God,And your sins havehid his face from you, that he will not hear.”
Quoted in Romans 3, this chapter of Isaiah contrast man’s sinfulness with God’s ability. Man is separated from God (v.2), defiled with sin and lies (v.3), corrupt (v.4), evil (v.5) and violent (v.6-8).

When there was no man to save, God intereceeded and came with rightesouness, salvation, zeal, and justice. He came and will come to deliver those who cannot save themselvers (v.16-21).
What a wonderful Saviour! What a blessing to know that He would rescue us when we could not save ourselvers. Look to Him and He will deliver. Proclaim this glorious gospel to others!
