A Word of Thanks

Thankfulness is one of the immediate results of being filled with the Spirit according to Ephesians 5:18-21,

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit…Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ…

In this verse, we see that Spirit-filled people will thank God all the time, for all things, and in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Today is the American Thanksgiving holiday, and I just want to stop to thank God for His goodness to me and my family. And I want to thank each of you who pray for us and support us on a regular basis. It means so much.

Whether you are observing the Thanksgiving holiday or not,  may God fill you with His Spirit and may we all give thanks to Him for all His wonderful gifts, including “the unspeakable gift” – Jesus Christ (2 Cor 9:15).
