Appreciation Service for Sam Quinn
Thank you so much for praying for us! We have finished our first two weeks in London, and we have definitely sensed the Lord’s blessing and help. In a remarkably short time, we were able to get a house and get things set up. We moved in this past Tuesday. Our belongings from Northern Ireland arrived on Wednesday. We spent Wednesday through Friday unpacking and setting things up.
I felt a bit of pressure to get as much done as I could because, on Saturday morning, I flew back up to Derry to be in town for Sam Quinn’s final Sunday at Northwest Baptist Church. We had a special appreciation service for him. Many folks in the church shared testimonies about how God used Sam to be a blessing to them.
After a meal with the church folks today, I will be flying over to Sunderland, Northern England to help out with a special week of training and outreach called Reach hosted by Bethesda Free Church and directed by my good friend Alan Campbell. Young people from all over the UK will be coming together to gain experience in sharing the gospel. Please pray for God to work in hearts and to use me as I preach Tuesday through Friday evening.
Also, please keep Teri and the children in your prayers. They are so happy to be settled in a more permanent home. I am so thankful for their great attitudes and support through all of the transitions.

- Yesterday, Pastor Austin Gardner, Pastor Beau Carpenter, and Vision Baptist Church had the first officiation service for Vision Baptist Church in Cobb County. It is great to be part of a sending church that has a vision for church-planting at home and abroad.

- Please pray for James Wilson as starting this coming Sunday, 1 September he will be pastor at Northwest Baptist.
