August 2020 Update
Our year-long furlough is coming to an end. God willing, we will be returning to the United Kingdom on August 31st. The UK is now allowing flights to come into the country; however, visitors are required to quarantine for 14 days. This had made our return somewhat complicated, but God has already helped us line up a house to rent. Please pray for all the details of our move back to the UK to come together.
This past month, we were able to be in 8 more churches in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Georgia, and Virginia. We enjoyed giving an update at some of our supporting churches as well as presenting in some new churches. God has blessed with a few new supporting churches, and we are praying for several more before we return.
Every week, I am in contact with quite a few people from the UK, and it is always encouraging to hear of their faithfulness in serving the Lord and spreading the gospel. Since March, I have been recording a sermon every week for the church in southeast London and leading a weekly Zoom prayer meeting. Please continue to pray for open doors for the gospel in the UK.
We’ve had a great time as a family visiting with many friends and extended family during this furlough. We are so thankful for everyone who has reached out to us and met up with us. We have been very blessed by the opportunity to reconnect and build stronger relationships with friends and family.
If you are interested in being a missionary or coming on a short-term mission trip, please get in touch. There are lots of ways you can get involved, and we want to help you. “The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.” (Luke 10:2)
