December 2017 Prayer Letter
Dear Pastors & Praying Friends,
We continue to thank God for His blessings. Two more folks recently became members of the church, and we expect several others to join in the next few months. Also, several more people completed the first level of the Foundations discipleship program. This program helps ground people in the Word, develop relationships with others in our church, and equips them to teach others.
At the end of October, some of the ladies in our church went on a retreat to Southwest England. They had a nice time of fellowship and refreshment together. They also were able to visit a friend of one of the ladies in our church. This lady visited our church this past Sunday and on Monday she placed her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ! She is an older lady who grew up Catholic, but through the work of the Spirit and the witness of various people came to believe on Christ!
At the beginning of November, we took a church mission trip to Romania, to visit a British-Romania missionary there. We were able to see the work and minister to the folks there. It was a very eye-opening and encouraging trip for our team. Pray that we can do more to help send out and support missionaries.
Thank you for continuing to pray for the work in Northern Ireland. We had another $3000 donated to the building fund for Northwest Baptist Church. We are also looking at a possible building to purchase. It is a three-story house in a great area that we think we could convert over to meeting rooms and pastor’s apartment. Please pray for guidance as we inquire about this property.
