December 2020 Update
England was locked down for the month of November during which churches were only allowed to be open for prayer. We moved back to online meetings and opened the church building for a few hours each Sunday for prayer. A couple of Sundays ago, we had a lady come into the building who had many questions. After explaining the gospel to her for a while, she made a profession of faith! Praise the Lord!
The work in Colchester continues to proceed. We had our first ‘in-person’ Bible study this past Thursday. Also, the Lord has provided a church building in which we are planning to begin having services in soon. It is amazing to watch the Lord continue to bring the details together for a new church plant in Colchester. Please pray for this work.
Teri’s mother went through a scary time this month, having a double by-pass surgery on her heart a few weeks ago. Thankfully, she is recovering well and should go home this week. It has not been easy for Teri to be overseas at a time like this, but we are grateful for the Lord’s grace and for your prayers.
We have put up a couple of videos on visionmissions.co.uk that feature opportunities in Liverpool and Derry. Please pray for labourers for the United Kingdom and for Europe. A recent study has revealed that the number of Baptist missionaries from North America to Europe has declined from 1,023 in 2003 to 537 in 2019!
