February 2025 Update
The fall semester of the Vision School of Missions is off to a great start! One of our students left for Bolivia for her internship, and another young lady, the daughter of missionaries to Bolivia, enrolled as a first-year student. This semester, we are offering a great schedule of classes with furlough missionaries from South Africa and Indonesia teaching weekly classes alongside our regular faculty. I have the privilege to teach three hours of Theology each week, covering the doctrines of the Holy Spirit, man, sin, and salvation.
Please pray for a special “Missions Rally” we are hosting at our campus on March 27-28. The event is for young people in high school and college to experience Vision School of Missions and rally around the cause of world evangelism. We are praying for God to use this event to raise awareness of the needs of the world and introduce our training program to those who desire to serve as Christian leaders and missionaries.
Two of our helps missionaries left for the field this month! We enjoyed attending the send-off service for Joy Wahl from our home church, Vision Baptist Church, as well as the commissioning service for Madison Brown from Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church in Gray, Tennessee. The testimony of these young ladies is a great inspiration. Pray for them as they minister alongside VBM church-planters in South Africa.
The Lord is providing for the Carey Center Academic Wing Project. So far, the Lord has provided $39,000 of the $246,000 we need for the project! This expansion will enable us to train up to sixty students at one time. Find out more by watching the video above or go to careycenter.visionmissions.com.
In the fall, Teri and I are hosting a mission trip to Chile, South America. We look forward to seeing and participating in the ministry of several missionary families. If you’re interested in going with us, let us know.
