Good First Day in England
I got up this morning at 3:30 AM. Sam Quinn dropped me off at Belfast International Airport. I flew to London Heathrow. Martin Wickens and Alan Campbell collected me from the airport, and we drove to meet with John Anderson and Stephen Silverson. John showed use around the church building in Chelsea of the new church they are working in. It is in a great area and is a phenomenal building. I am so excited to see how God is using the Andersons, and I will be praying for the Lord to bless that work there.
We ate lunch together, and then Martin, Alan, and I headed about an hour due West toward Brimpton. Brimpton is a very small town, but there are quite a few large cities within a few miles. Martin has a plan to reach out into the surrounding areas with the gospel. They have an amazing old church building. The grounds are very nice and peaceful, and it is a very nice place to stay.
I studied for a little while this afternoon, and then we had the service. I preached from 1 Corinthians 15. It is an honour to be here to preach this missions conference. Please be in prayer for Brimpton Baptist Church and for God to do a great work in this area. Below are a few photographs from the day:
