Good Friday & Easter Services
This was a very exciting weekend for us as a church! Not only did we have a special emphasis for Easter, but we also were in a brand new location. We had a Good Friday service and special Easter Service today.
Friday was a good start to the weekend with mostly just our people coming out and one visitor. A man from our church named James gave his testimony of salvation, which was a real blessing. Then, today went very well. We had 27 people in attendance with 5 first-time visitors.
After the service, almost everyone stayed after for a cup of tea and some fellowship. We had an Easter egg hunt for the children. There was a really great spirit in the service.
Our people really pitched in and were such a help. They came through amazingly running the sound, organising the tea and food, singing, greeting, etc. It was a huge success. Everyone seemed to really enjoy the new location. The staff at Cultúrlann Uí Chanáin are a huge help, and we are so thankful for them allowing us to use the building.
Below is a photograph from our Friday service. We had 14 in attendance on Friday, so the building was fuller this morning, but this picture gives you idea of where we meet.
