Magee University Outreach

On Monday night, a group of us from our church went out to Magee University to help the Christian Union on campus pass out tea and coffee outside the Student Union and witness to the students.

The Student Union is basically a place for the students to hang out and get cheap drink.  At about 1.00 am, they have to leave the building, so when they come out they are looking for tea and coffee.  The Christian Union goes there every Monday night to pass it out, and we are trying to support them and get a chance to witness to the young people.

Magee University is about 1/2 mile from our church and has about several thousand students with about 600 who live on-campus.  We have several students that attend our church, and we are exciting about doing more to reach the students who come to Derry from all over the world.
