March 2018 Prayer Letter
Dear Pastors & Praying Friends,
The Lord continues to bless the work here in southeast London. We are grateful that more people are getting involved in ministry and discipleship. We have also had a few new people start coming to the church, for which we are grateful.
At the start of February, we had a couples’ meal and weekend of teaching on marriage with Pastor Stephen Boreland from Sunderland. It was encouraging to partner with another local church near us for the couples’ meal and have about a dozen couples attend. The area where we live has a lot of families, so we feel a big responsibility to help families and young people. We have also had an increased interest in our Friday youth club with a number of new young people.
Please pray for the Easter weekend coming up that the Lord will use that to help us reach out with the gospel and see people saved. It is a great opportunity to share the message of the death and resurrection of Christ.
Finally, we have a new support address: Vision Baptist Missions, PO Box 442, Alpharetta, GA 30009. This is the address for our sending church, which is now able to handle our support directly. As a result, we will no longer receive our support through Macedonia World Baptist Missions, which has been a wonderful help to us since 2001. There are no problems with Macedonia and we will continue on with the same vision and doctrine as before. If you have any questions, you can contact us, our pastor, Austin Gardner (770- 500-8021), or MWBM Assistant Director Dean Hamby (770-314-3048). Please make a note of the new support address!
Thank you so much for your continued prayers and faithful support
