Missionary Spotlight: Bro. Aaron – North Africa
One of my best friends from Bible college is a missionary to North Africa. I actually met him the first day of Bible college. Because we were both missions majors, we spent a lot of time together including a six month internship in Peru.
While in Peru, our friendship was forged by the intense pressure of living away from home, dealing with another culture and language, and learning many lessons together. Our last year in Bible college, we started deputation and encouraged one another through that process. After deputation, we went our separate ways – me to Northern Ireland, him to Peru – but we have always kept in close communication. We have visited each other on the field, and it has been a joy to sharpen each others’countenance.
I would like to ask you to pray for Bro. Aaron as he and his family serve in North Africa, a very challenging place. There are many obstacles as well as many opportunities. It is exciting to hear how God is raising up preachers and churches through the faithful preaching and teaching of God’s Word.
I can honestly say that I don’t know a more determined, hard-working, and passionate person. Whatever he puts his mind to do will be accomplished with God’s help. He loves the Lord with all of his heart and is constantly motivating me and others to do more for God.
