Snode Prayer Letter – June 3, 2015
Dear Pastors & Praying Friends,
Following our mission conference at the beginning of May, some money has been committed to world missions. We hope to start supporting our first missionary soon.
This month, I have been able to meet quite regularly with two young men for discipleship. Both men are in their twenties and are very teachable.
On May 24, we had a Curry and Quiz night as an evangelistic outreach. We had a good number attend including a family from our children’s school.
We had 22 first-time visitors in the month of May. Pray for God to help us as we seek to follow up with them and disciple those who begin coming regularly.
The last week in May, I accompanied a British pastor friend, Alan Campbell, to Nuremberg, Germany, where we taught a group of young people from several churches about evangelism, discipleship, and missions. It was very encouraging to see them develop a passion for evangelism and missions.
Please continue to pray for Northwest Baptist Church in Derry, N Ireland. Pastor James has quit his part-time job and is pastoring the church full-time. He still lacks $600/month temporary support, but is going forward by faith. The church recently celebrated their 7th anniversary.
Since 2008, they have met in rented facilities. We are now praying about getting them a building and hope to raise $75,000 for them. This would be half of what they would need and then the church would pay for the other half. Would you pray about giving a donation to this need? All money can be given via MWBM (PO Box 519, Braselton, GA 30517) and marked “NWBC building fund.” Thank you so much for your prayers!
