Snode Prayer Letter – May 5, 2015
Dear Pastors & Praying Friends,
We spent the first week of April in North Africa visiting some church-planter friends and teaching some national pastors. It was encouraging to see how the ministry there is growing since our visit several years ago. It was also great to travel with James Wilson and Alan Campbell, two pastors from the UK.
God blessed our Easter services with five first-time visitors, four of which have been coming quite regularly since then.
On May 1-3, we had our first world missions conference, focusing as a church on our responsibility to reach our city, country, and world with the gospel. Pastor Alan Campbell from Sunderland preached for us and was a real blessing helping our church to understand Biblical missions.
After serving with us for a year, Chris Waye and his family have moved to Thailand to do mission work there. We are so thankful for the help they were here in London, and we would like to ask you to pray for them as they begin this new endeavour. You can follow their ministry at www.gospelinthailand.com.
The church here is continuing to grow with a weekly average of 21 local people coming last month. The offerings are growing and we are seeing more folks get involved in ministry as well. We have started a monthly outreach breakfast to encourage more folks to come out and help us with evangelism. Last month, we distributed literature to about 2500 homes.
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers and support. May God richly bless you all.
