Snode Prayer Letter – November 2, 2014
Dear Pastors & Praying Friends,
Last month, we distributed about 10,000 gospel invitations in the Downham area. The Lord really blessed with 19 first-time visitors coming to the church! Most of those visitors are people from the local area who received an invitation.
Apart from our church-planting team, we have about a dozen people who come regularly and several others who come occasionally. Please pray for souls to be saved, and for people to grow in their walk with Christ.
We have started doing Foundations discipleship lessons with a few folks in the church and hope to start with others soon.
We have good news to report about our building situation. Currently, we are meeting in a community center, but there is a vacant church building that is under the control of the London City Mission. We have been discussing using this building with LCM for several months, and they have agreed to rent it to us.
On November 18, we will meet with LCM again to discuss more details of our rental agreement, when we can start using it, and how much it will cost. Please continue to pray for all to go well there, and for the Lord to continue opening the doors for this building. It would be a huge tool for ministry in the Downham area.
This Saturday, we start our first youth meeting. Please pray for the three teenagers that come to the church now and for other young people to start coming to the young meeting. The youth meeting is a vital part of investing in the next generation and raising up future leaders.
God bless you all, and thank you so much for your faithfulness!
