Teen Camp – Day 3-4
We got home today from Teen Camp. What a great time that we had together! Camp is one of my favourite times of the year, because I love spending time with young people and seeing God work in their lives.
I am so thankful for the work that the Lord did this week. We had a phenomenal time of learning from God’s Word, doing lots of fun activities, and praying for God to use us and work in our lives. During the week, there were:
- Many fun activities including capture the flag, big ball games, fun at the seaside, football, zip line, high ropes course, archery, and much more.
- Eleven Bible messages.
- Nine devotional times focusing on character, countries of the world, and great Christians of the past.
- Great times of fellowship and fun.
I am so thankful for my wife, Alan Campbell, Sam Quinn, and Alan Edgar who helped out this year. Alan Campbell and Sam Quinn did a phenomenal job preparing and planning for the week. Their work made the week a huge success. Also, Teri worked extremely hard preparing all the food for the young people. We ate like kings!
We are already making plans for next years camps. The Primary Camp will be 18-20 August at the Boy’s Brigade Camp in Co. Down, and the Teen Camp will be 25-29 July at the same place. Bro. Tony Howeth will be coming as our guest preacher!
May plans to come now and see what God will do in your life and in the lives of your friends and young people.
