Thankful for God’s Goodness Over Past 10 Years
Last night, our mission board, Macedonia World Baptist Missions, presented our pastor, Austin Gardner, with a plaque for Teri and I for ten years of missionary service.
Our pastor received the plaque because we were unable to be at the annual conference in Georgia. We just want to say a word of thanks to all of those who have prayed for us, supported us, and encouraged us over the past ten years.
I was accepted as a missionary with MWBM while I was still in Peru studying under Pastor Gardner as a Bible college student. Teri and I got married about 7 months later. Over the last ten years, God has been so good to us. It has been amazing to me how God has provided in so many ways and guided us.
I want to say a work of thanks to Dr. Wade, Bro. Hamby, and all the people at Macedonia World Baptist Missions. I would like to thank Crown College for their influence in my life and for making the trip to Peru a possibility. Without that, I might never have come in contact with MWBM and my pastor, Austin Gardner, who have been such a support me over the last ten years.
I would like to thank Pastor Gardner and Robert Canfield for going to the annual conference to receive the plaque for us. Pastor Gardner and all the people at Vision Baptist have been such a blessing to us. I would like to thank the Pastor Adkins and the Mansfield Baptist Temple for their influence in my life especially while I was growing up. I would like to thank Pastor Yoder, Pastor Anderson, and Pastor Powell and the Carrollton Baptist Temple for their help and support for my while I was in Bible college and during the first several years of our missionary service.
I would also like to thank my parents, Max & Dedre Snode, and Teri’s parents, Mike and Carla Smith, for their prayers, love, support, and encouragement. Finally, I would like to thank all of our supporting churches and all our prayer partners who are too numerous to name who live in the USA, the UK, Ireland, and various parts of the world.
Thank you so much. We are overwhelmed with God’s goodness to us, and we trust that the Lord will continue to use us according to His will in the days that lie ahead.
