Vision Tour – Day 6 & 7
Sunday, 10 June – London, England
On Sunday, we went to two churches in London, England. The first church is one pastored by a close friend of mine, John Anderson. God is blessing the church there in Chelsea. It was exciting to see the great facility that God has given them and the church and men that the Lord is building there. We had a nice time of fellowship after the worship service with them.
In the afternoon, we took the group to Harrods in London, and then went to the Metropolitan Tabernacle, where Charles Spurgeon used to pastor. There were nearly 400 people in attendance and a good gospel message was preached. It was encouraging to see so many people out to worship God and from all different backgrounds.
Monday, 11 June – London, England
We left our hotel at 7.30 AM and toured London on the bus tour and boat tour. We went by all the usual highlights (Big Ben, Westminster, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Piccadilly Circus, etc.) It was very rainy, but the group kept a good attitude about things. Chris and I found some used bookshops that I bought a few old books from. I really enjoyed that. We went back to the hotel and had devotions before going to bed.
