Week of Outreach & Training in Sunderland, Northern England
I spent last week in the city of Sunderland in the northern England helping a good friend of mine, Alan Campbell, and Bethesda Free Church with Reach 2013. Reach is a week of training and evangelism for young people designed to help them grow in their faith, develop their evangelism skills, and encourage boldness in their daily lives for Christ.
I first met Alan Campbell in Northern Ireland, and he has been a very good friend to me over the years. It was a joy to serve together with him and another pastor from Stoke-on-Trent, Matt Green. I was privileged to preach to the young people each evening and then preach a gospel service on Friday night. We had training in the mornings and then were out on the streets for 3-4 hours each afternoon sharing the gospel.
Thank you for praying for us. Teri and the children had a good week while I was away despite the car breaking down and having just moved in. I am so thankful for my family and am delighted to be back with them after being gone for a week.
Below are a few photos from the week of outreach.
